A Bachelor’s in Bacteria

My junior year in college I had a roommate who was obsessed with cleaning. Now, I like to think of myself as a pretty clean person but this girl drove me crazy. At first it was nice to have someone who kept our dorm room so clean but it quickly grew to be an annoyance. I spent one semester with her and that was it. She would constantly complain about how she couldn't understand how people could use the restroom and not wash their hands. So she always carried hand sanitizer and wet naps in her purse. She wouldn't dare touch the bathroom knobs. Even the desks in class freaked her out. She wore jackets and sweaters just so her skin never made contact with the desks. If she had to get something out of a vending machine or take the elevator she used a pencil to push the buttons. These are just a few of her obsessive behaviors. I don't have the time to list them all, it'd probably take me another four years just to do that. College is hard enough and I can't imagine doing it having to go through what she had to everyday.
