Cleaning the Shower

Cleaning the Shower Posted January 11 2010 - 9:08 am I have the hardest time cleaning my shower because I can never get water up onto the high walls to rinse the product off. I used to have an articulated shower head so could spray the walls with that, but our new shower doesn't have one so find myself throwing water against the wall out of a cup. Does anyone have a better solution to this? It just seems so silly to be throwing water at the walls! |

Posted January 22 2010 - 4:59 pm What about using a clean cloth to wipe it off? If you cannot reach it, try a mop with a small head. |

Posted January 22 2010 - 5:24 pm I have a bowl that I use to throw water to clean the walls too. It's funny but nice to see I am not the only one doing that. |

Posted January 22 2010 - 5:25 pm I do the same thing too. I sometimes get water on me and I would love to try some other ideas. |

Posted January 22 2010 - 7:03 pm I'm right there with ya - and I usually end up with water all over the place. Although, I do like the idea of using a small mop - think I'll try that. |

Posted January 23 2010 - 1:01 am I have a sponge on a 2 foot handle that I use to clean and rinse with. Works great. |

Posted January 23 2010 - 3:03 am I went to the automotive department and bought a small-headed mop with an extendable handle. It cost about $7. I put my Soft Scrub on it, and away I go. Due to some disabilities, it was hard to get to the higher parts, but this makes it a snap. When I'm done with the scrubbing, I rinse it out well, then rinse the wall. The guy told me they make them to use on vans and SUVs, but I like my way better. Anyway, its a relatively cheap way to get the job done without taking an unwanted shower! |
